I joined the Community Foundation Wales in January 2020 after graduating from Swansea University in History and Social Policy.
Studying social policy for three years enabled me to gain the knowledge and understanding of social and economic issues facing Wales, whether that being in large cities or smaller rural areas, and the measures put in place to combat these problems.
What I do
I am a Grants Officer, a member of the Foundation’s Grants Team. The Grants team is responsible for running of grants programmes and distributing of grants over £2 million to projects and charities in Wales each year.
Ask me about...
Anything to with grants.
Why I love Wales
I was born and brought up in a small rural village on the outskirts of Cardiff and all of my family were brought up in Swansea.
I love the freedom of living in the countryside but only a short drive to the beach or the Capital.
