Volunteering

Why volunteer with us?

Our volunteers help us reach more communities, bringing fresh ideas to help Welsh communities thrive.

We know first-hand the power of volunteering. There are over 42,000 community groups and charities in Wales working to improve and develop their communities, using their initiative to meet local needs.

These groups and charities understand the challenges faced by people in their community and know how best to tackle these barriers. This vital work is often carried out on a shoestring budget or, more commonly, on voluntary basis so we see every day how volunteers give their time, skills and energy to make a real difference in their communities.

Here’s a bit more about our volunteers and how you can get involved.
