Taclo rhwystrau gwaith i gymunedau lleiafrifol ethnig

“Bydd y sesiynau hyfforddi yn gwella cyfleoedd drwy fynd i’r afael â’r rhwystrau sy’n atal pobl leiafrifoedd ethnig rhag dechrau gwaith neu gynnal cyflogaeth.”

Mae Race Equality First yn gweithio tuag at egwyddor cydraddoldeb a chreu cymdeithas deg a chyfiawn. Dyfarnwyd grant o £10,000 i Race Equality First er mwyn darparu hyfforddiant sgiliau cyflogaeth ar gyfer dynion a merched lleiafrifoedd ethnig di-waith sy’n byw yng Nghaerdydd.

Mae’r grant wedi galluogi Race Equality First i gynnal 10 sesiwn hyfforddi ar gyfer hyd at 100 o ddynion a merched sy’n byw yn yr ardaloedd mwyaf difreintiedig yng Nghaerdydd. Gan fynd i’r afael â rhwystrau sy’n atal pobl leiafrifoedd ethnig rhag dechrau neu aros mewn gwaith, mae’r sesiynau yn cwmpasu ffurflenni cais, cyfweliadau a sgiliau cyflwyno, yn ogystal â mynd i’r afael â sesiynau hunanhyder.

Mae’r hyfforddiant yn helpu i fagu hyder, ac integreiddio cymdeithasol a chydlyniant cymunedol, gan gynnig cyfle i bobl o gefndiroedd a diwylliannau lleiafrifol gwahanol i gymysgu mewn amgylchedd dysgu cefnogol a sensitif.
