I joined Community Foundation Wales in August 2026. I started my career through the Arts & Business Cymru Internship scheme at Wales Millennium Centre, working in the Fundraising team. I focussed primarily on our membership schemes, individual giving, major donor programmes, corporate partners and all aspects of fundraising.

As Philanthropy Officer, I’m leading and developing our Friends programme. I’m also focussing on our supporter communications, bringing on new corporate relationships, working with professional advisors, and collaborating with the whole team to ensure we’re connecting the donors to the stories of their funded projects.

Becoming a Friend of Community Foundation Wales, corporate partnerships and support, investments, donations and setting up a fund.

I love the people in Wales – friendly, community-focussed, kind and caring. The food – although I do choose a chocolate chip Welsh cake over traditional. The language – I learnt Welsh in school and have recently started to relearn.
