The Denbighshire Community Endowment Fund aims to fund educational initiatives including:
- Educational attainment projects including lifelong learning
- Education inclusion projects with support for talented individual students in the form of scholarships, travel assistance, sport, prizes for attainment and educational materials.
Grants Available
Individuals can apply for grants of up to £500.
Who can apply?
Students up to and including the age of 25 years who are currently a full-time resident in the Local Authority area of Denbighshire, provided that the initiatives do not fall within statutory provision.
Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate exactly how they will meet the Fund’s objectives and priorities, and who have not previously received support from this Fund.
How to apply?
Applicants must complete an online application form which can be accessed via our website.
Please note:
- Grants will not be awarded retrospectively i.e. for costs incurred before receipt of our grant offer letter, and the signed terms and conditions have been returned.
- Grants must be fully spent within one year of receipt of our offer letter.
- The application must show a clear need for financial support, financial hardship or additional support needs.
An organisation or person cannot have more than one grant from the same Fund. If you currently have a grant and want to apply again for the same fund, the start date of your new application needs to be after the end date of your current grant.
