The Goodwash Company strengthens support for Welsh communities

We’re delighted to share that The Goodwash Company has become a Friend of Community Foundation Wales, donating to our Fund for Wales to help support grassroots organisations and community groups across the country.

Founded in Wales, Goodwash has long championed social impact alongside its business. By contributing to Fund for Wales, the company is helping ensure funding reaches small charities and local initiatives that are making a difference in their communities.

Mandy Powell, Founder of The Goodwash Company, said: “Doing Good across Welsh communities is a fundamental value at Goodwash Company. Each time you wash good things happen for the people and communities of Wales. Community Foundation Wales provides Goodwash with a way to distribute funding to the causes and projects we and our customers care most about.”

Looking ahead, we share a long-term ambition with Goodwash to establish a dedicated charitable fund supporting good causes across Wales.

Katy Hales, Director of Philanthropy for Community Foundation Wales, said: “The Goodwash Company has always been a business with a strong sense of purpose, and we’ve been proud to work alongside them since 2018. It’s great to see their continued commitment to supporting communities across Wales through this contribution to Fund for Wales. Support like this helps us direct funding to grassroots organisations that are making a real difference locally.”

Fund for Wales supports a wide range of community-led projects that improve people’s wellbeing and help local groups thrive. You can find out more about the Fund here.
