Cysylltu cymunedau drwy arddio

“Mae pobl yn chwilio am ffyrdd o fod yn gysylltiedig. Garddio cymunedol ydy o, ac rydw i’n credu bod y rhan gymunedol ohono yr un mor bwysig â’r rhan garddio.”

Gyda £6,000 gan Gronfa i Gymru dros dair blynedd, mae Clwb a Gerddi Cymunedol yn yr Wyddgrug wedi creu lle diogel a chroesawgar i bobl o bob oed a gallu gysylltu trwy weithgareddau garddio, creadigrwydd a lles.

Roedd llawer o bobl leol, gan gynnwys y rhai ag anableddau, heriau iechyd meddwl, neu anghenion dysgu ychwanegol, yn chwilio am ffyrdd ystyrlon o gysylltu ag eraill, meithrin hyder a theimlo’n rhan o rywbeth.

Daeth clybiau garddio misol, dan arweiniad prif arddwr, â phobl ynghyd trwy gariad at natur. Ochr yn ochr â hyn, helpodd sesiynau celf, coginio, ioga ac ymwybyddiaeth ofalgar wythnosol i feithrin cyfeillgarwch, lleihau unigedd ac annog dysgu a gwneud penderfyniadau ar y cyd.

Mae’r ardd wedi dod yn ganolfan dawel a chreadigol lle mae pobl yn teimlo eu bod yn perthyn. O ddysgu am goed i ddyfnhau arferion ymwybyddiaeth ofalgar, mae cyfranogwyr yn ennill sgiliau newydd ac yn dod o hyd i ffyrdd newydd o gysylltu.

When people think about philanthropy, it’s often the large-scale donations and major fundraising campaigns that come to mind. But relatively small amounts of funding can also have a transformative impact on someone’s future.
