An exciting new chapter for Community Foundation Wales

An exciting new chapter for Community Foundation Wales

Today, we’re proud to share our refreshed brand!

Over the past year, we’ve been reflecting on who Community Foundation Wales is today, the role we play within Wales and how we tell our story.

A lot has changed since we first started in 1999. We’ve grown our work with donors, fundholders, businesses and communities across Wales. We’ve expanded the funding we distribute, deepened our relationships and strengthened our ambition for the future.

What hasn’t changed is our purpose. We’re still here to help people invest in the future of the communities they care about. We’re still committed to growing philanthropy in Wales. And we’re still passionate about ensuring giving creates lasting impact in communities across the country.

Our refreshed brand reflects the organisation we’ve become and the future we’re helping to build. It’s also about more than a new logo or colour palette. It’s about having a clearer story about who we are, what we do and why it matters.

At the heart of the new brand is a simple idea: turning philanthropy into impact.

Whether that’s helping a donor create a charitable fund, supporting a business to invest in local communities, or connecting funding with grassroots organisations, we believe philanthropy has the power to create meaningful and lasting change across Wales.

You’ll notice a new visual identity inspired by the people, places and communities that make Wales unique. Over the coming months, you’ll begin to see the refreshed brand appear across our website, publications, events and digital channels.

As a small charity, this won’t happen overnight. We’ll be rolling the brand out gradually, making updates over time and ensuring we continue to make the best use of our resources.

We’re also looking forward to sharing our new brand film in the coming weeks, bringing our story to life through the voices of the people, communities and partners who make our work possible.

While our look and language have evolved, the way we support donors, fundholders, charities and communities remains the same. Funding programmes, charitable funds and donations all continue as normal, although you’ll begin to see our new branding rolled out across our communications and materials.

Our refreshed identity reflects the organisation we’ve become and our ambition for the future. We’re excited to begin this new chapter!
