My background
Originally from Abergele in north Wales, I studied at the University of Oxford, earning undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in History at Jesus College and Corpus Christi College. After graduating in 2021, I returned to north Wales to join a local government graduate scheme with Cyngor Gwynedd, during which I completed a part-time Master of Public Administration (MPA) with Distinction at the University of York, as well as the Wales Future Generations Leadership Academy.
I’m now a Team Leader in Economic Development at Cyngor Gwynedd and serve as the Lead Officer for Gwynedd in the ARFOR Partnership – supporting local enterprises, communities and individuals to thrive across the county, strengthening the Welsh language through the economy, and helping young people and families to stay in, or return to, north and west Wales.
What I do
As a new Trustee of Community Foundation Wales, I’m excited to support the Foundation’s great work across Wales with my fellow Board members and the fantastic officers of the charity.

Why I love Wales
I returned to live and work in Wales after graduating precisely because of my love for Wales – its people and communities, its breathtaking natural environment, and its rich history and culture. And as a Welsh speaker, it really is special to live in a bilingual country where I can enjoy the rich culture of our two languages.
