Sarah Corser
Trustee
My background
My family all originate from Montgomeryshire where I spent much of my childhood. I attended Cardiff University to read English Literature and then became a solicitor in 2000. I am now a Principal Associate in a national law practice. My work has brought me into contact with lots of families who have a great need of support having suffered sometimes devastating injuries, and I have worked with a number of charities to help support the work they do with individuals who have suffered a mental or physical injury. I joined Community Foundation Wales in 2020.
What I do
I am a Trustee of Community Foundation Wales and sit on two committees relating to Grants and Finance Risk and Investment for the Foundation
Ask me about…
What grants are available and how these can be accessed, and also how individuals can support the Foundation’s work and fundraising.
Why I love Wales
Wales is a very special place and, wherever I have travelled to or lived, has always been home. It has a wealth or rich culture and heritage through its language , literature, sport and music and I love celebrating all that it represents.
My little corner of Wales in Montgomeryshire, is a beautiful landscape of rolling hills, green fields and lovely towns and villages with communities who work together and look after each other. I think it is a secret gem at the heart of Wales!
