Our Communities Together – a cost of living crisis appeal

The cost of living crisis is impacting community groups of all sizes, causing them to struggle to meet the rising costs of delivering vital services at a time when demand for these services is increasing.

Community Foundation Wales has relaunched Our Communities Together – a cost of living crisis appeal to raise further funds, so that we can continue to support charities and community organisations across Wales to help those most affected by the cost of living crisis.

We are once again partnering with media company Newsquest on the appeal with money raised being used to support the work of Welsh groups and charities making a huge difference for local people and communities in these unprecedented times.

79 community groups across Wales have so far been awarded grants from the Our Communities Together – a cost of living fund, totalling more than £1 million of support to Welsh communities.

We have awarded funding to groups running services such as food bank provision, warm hubs providing hot meals and debt and benefits advice to the most vulnerable members of our communities who continue to face hardship and crisis.

There are more difficult months to come, and we want to be able to help as many people across Wales as we can, so we are once again calling on individuals and businesses who passionately believe in the value of local community to support the appeal with a donation.

If you are an individual you can donate to the appeal below.

If you are a business interested in making a donation to the appeal, please get in contact here or email katy@communityfoundationwales.org.uk
