The Cynnal Endowment Fund is a grant that will fund educational projects in Gwynedd and Ynys Mon, and will provide support to the following themes:
- Activities that support the educational development of school aged children, young people and children in the early years up to the age of 18.
- School/college based projects that support vocational training, health matters and healthy living.
Grants available
Grants of £1,000 per year for up to 3 years are available for organisations.
Grants may be used to fund capital and/or running costs of a project.
Who can apply
Charities or non-for-profit community organisations providing educational activities.
Schools in Gwynedd or Ynys Mon, used for charitable educational purposes additional to the mandatory requirements of the school curriculum.
Grants will not be awarded to cover any costs which fall under statutory provisions.
How to apply?
Applicants must complete an online application form which can be accessed via our website.
Please note:
- Grants will not be awarded retrospectively i.e. for costs incurred before receipt of our grant offer letter, and the signed terms and conditions have been returned.
- Grants are not available to support fundraising for other groups and charities.
- Grants must be fully spent within one year of receipt of our offer letter.
- The application must show a clear need for financial support, financial hardship or additional support needs.
