A simpler, faster way to apply for funding is coming soon

We’re preparing to launch a new Grants Hub – a simpler, faster, and clearer way to apply for and manage grants with Community Foundation Wales.

The new online system will make it easier to:

  • View and manage all your applications in one place
  • Track progress in real time
  • Accept approved grants online
  • Complete monitoring requirements more easily

We’re also simplifying our forms and only asking for the information that really matters, reflecting our commitment under IVAR’s Open and Trusting Grant-making to respect applicants’ time and make our processes more accessible.

To make sure everything works smoothly, we’ll be testing the new Grants Hub between January and April 2026, with the aim of launching in April 2026. Our Fund for Wales will remain open during this period to help us test and refine the system.

Our grants team will continue to be on hand throughout the testing period to answer questions and provide advice. We’ll also be offering training sessions and guidance materials to help applicants get familiar with the new Grants Hub ahead of launch. Keep an eye on our website and newsletters where we’ll be sharing more soon.

All current and past application data will be transferred securely to the new system in line with our data protection policy, and the platform will be fully available in Welsh and English.

We know that applying for funding can sometimes feel complicated or time-consuming. The new Grants Hub is all about making that experience simpler, fairer, and more transparent, so people can spend more time focusing on their communities and less time on forms.
