New Grants Hub: funds temporarily paused while we test our new system

As we prepare to launch our new Grants Hub later this spring, most of our funds are temporarily closed between January and April 2026.

This short pause will allow us to test and refine the new system to make applying for funding with Community Foundation Wales simpler, faster, and clearer. Our Fund for Wales will remain open during this time so that we can continue accepting applications while putting the new system through its paces.

The new Grants Hub will offer applicants a smoother and more transparent experience, becoming a one stop shop to manage applications, track progress, and complete monitoring requirements online. It also forms part of our ongoing commitment under IVAR’s Open and Trusting Grant-making to respect applicants’ time and simplify our processes wherever possible.

During the testing period, our grants team will still be available to answer questions, provide advice, or help you plan for future applications. We’ll also be sharing training opportunities and step-by-step guidance ahead of the full launch to help applicants get familiar with the new system.

This short pause is an investment in doing things better. We’re building a system that’s more accessible, transparent, and supportive, so that applying for funding feels easier for everyone.
