My background
Born in Cardiff, where I still live, I graduated with a maths degree from Bristol University and joined Price Waterhouse (later PricewaterhouseCoopers), where I qualified as a chartered accountant. My career with them was mainly in business restructuring. Since retiring as a partner from PwC, I have been a non executive director of Principality Building Society and involved with a number of charities.
What I do
I am a trustee of Community Foundation Wales and sit on the Finance, Risk and Investment Committee, as well as the Forward Planning and Development Committee.
I am also a trustee of Artes Mundi and the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
